Every ARIA product includes a free trial with the complete feature set, before any payment is required. The trial is limited by a per-product allowance — ten pages in ARIA OCR, twenty-five in ARIA PDF, three files in ARIA REPAIR (each within seven days), five locks in ARIA LOCK, and a time-limited trial in ARIA SHIELD — and the exact allowance is shown in the application. We ask you to use it. The trial exists so that you can confirm the software works for you, on your own computer, before you spend anything.
You may request a full refund of a licence purchase within seven (7) calendar days of the date of payment.
A refund will be approved where all of the following are true:
The second condition exists because the trial already gives you a full opportunity to evaluate the software. If you have completed a trial on that machine, you have had your evaluation period and a refund will not normally be issued.
Regardless of the seven-day window, we will refund you in full if:
Send us a message through the contact form, choosing "Refund request" as the subject, and include:
We acknowledge every refund request within one working day and tell you our decision within three working days.
Once approved, we submit the refund to our payment provider immediately. The money is returned to the original payment method — we cannot send it anywhere else.

| We decide and tell you | Within 3 working days |
| We submit the refund | Same day as approval |
| Money reaches your account | 5–7 working days from approval |
The final step is controlled by your bank or card issuer, not by us. If more than ten working days have passed since we told you a refund was approved, please write to us and we will chase it with the payment provider on your behalf.
When a refund is issued, the associated licence key is revoked. The software will stop working on the computer it was activated on, and you must stop using the software. Word files you already exported remain yours; nothing is removed from your computer.
ARIA licences are one-time purchases for a fixed term. There is no subscription, no recurring charge and no stored payment mandate, so there is nothing to cancel to prevent a future charge. A licence simply stops working at the end of its term unless you choose to renew it.
If you have asked us to prepare a renewal but have not yet paid, you can cancel that request at any time by replying to the email, at no cost.
